This research aims to analyse the evaluation of local government budget allocation towards infrastructure development in order to improve public services in Jembrana Regency. Infrastructure has a strategic role in supporting the social and economic activities of the community as well as encouraging the equalisation of development and improving welfare. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach by utilising secondary data obtained from official local government documents, such as agency performance reports, Regional Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMD), strategic plan (Renstra), as well as other infrastructure development planning and implementation documents. The research results show that the development of infrastructure in Jembrana Regency has experienced a significant development, especially in the transportation sector. This is shown by the management of the district road network along 941,023 km which has mostly been paved. In addition, the realisation of the development budget reached 93.58%, which reflects the relatively optimal budget management performance. However, in its implementation, various obstacles are still found, including regional budget limitations, land acquisition constraints, weather factors that affect the construction process, and dependence on Special Allocation Funds (DAK) that require high administrative order.
