LOKANUSA: Journal of Local Administration, Governance and Regional Development is an academic journal focusing on theoretical, empirical, and policy-oriented studies in public administration, local governance, decentralization, and regional development.

The journal was established to strengthen scholarly communication among academics, policymakers, public administrators, researchers, and practitioners concerned with the dynamics of governance at local and regional levels. It welcomes research from Indonesia and other countries, particularly studies that offer comparative, innovative, and evidence-based perspectives.

LOKANUSA promotes research that connects public administration theory with practical governance challenges. The journal recognizes that contemporary local and regional development requires effective institutions, collaborative governance, accountable public management, inclusive participation, and sustainable development strategies.

The journal therefore encourages manuscripts that contribute to theoretical development, policy evaluation, institutional reform, governance innovation, and the improvement of public-sector performance.

LOKANUSA is committed to developing a professional publication system consistent with national accredited journal standards and internationally recognized scholarly publishing practices.
