A Comparison of E-Government in Japan and Indonesia: Survey of User Experiences of JNTO and Wonderful Indonesia

E-tourism is a digital platfrom that makes it easy for all tourists to explore the charms of a country through easy applications at any time or place. For Indonesia's abundant natural beauty to be known to tourists, the ministry of tourism and the creative economy has created a website containing information about tourism in Indonesia. As Indonesia does, Japan is also using e-tourism to acquaint tourists run by the Japan national tourism organization. The purpose of the study is to understand the differences and equations of both websites and to analyze the user's level of satisfaction. Research methods and data-collecting methods use questionnaire techniques and library studies. As a result of the study, among the web sites wonderful Indonesia and jnto are several features that are provided. Despite their differences, both websites still have a lot in common. The results of the survey obtained were 50.2% for Japan National Tourism Organization and 49.8% for Wonderful Indonesia. The results are assessed by several indicators that are comparison between the two websites.
